Thanksgiving in New York might be fantastic for some, but for me it’s a reminder that I’m relatively solo out here. With most of my family and close friends in the Midwest (or scattered about elsewhere), this particular holiday has potential to bring me down. So as soon as I could, I went out to start Christmas.
