On New Year’s Day, I met up with a friend from grad school and finally watched the Rose Bowl while physically in Madison. I’ve been dedicated to watching Wisconsin play in Rose Bowls since the 1993-94 season (when I was a sophomore in high school), but due to school breaks and life and whatnot, this is the first time I’ve been able to do so from Madison. We chose The Great Dane.

I’ve never seen State Street and envrions so vacant and quiet as I did that night.
